Ok, people- I’ve got some big news! Waiting so long to share this news with you has been difficult for me. I’m not the best at keeping secrets. Just ask Mr. Terrace. When it comes to any kind of surprise, my ability to shut my mouth until the proper time is seriously lacking. I just get so excited that I can’t contain myself! So what is this big news? What is this secret that I was barely able to keep quiet the past couple of weeks?

Rachael White, former Ursula’s employee and creator of the very popular blog Tokyo Terrace, is home from Japan for the summer. She will be cooking a Japanese fusion wine dinner on Wednesday August 4. We will have 6 wines and 5 courses in an evening that will thrill and surprise your taste buds. Appetizers start at 6:30 and cost is $70 per person and includes tax and gratuity. Reserve your seat at 651-429-9600. Visit Rachael’s blog at tokyoterrace.com.
Whew! Feels good to get that out in the open! Now do you understand my enthusiasm? When Kurt and his wife Theresa asked me if I was interested in doing a wine dinner at their restaurant I was absolutely thrilled. Ursula’s is one of the main reasons I have found myself exploring the world of wine and food and I cannot wait to work with the chef, Dennis, to make this wine dinner a success.
So, the next few weeks will be full of testing, tasting and prepping for what is sure to be a fun-filled evening! If you are in the Twin Cities area, feel free to call and make your reservation for the dinner at 651-429-9600. Check out the Ursula’s Website for more info including the address and contact info. Cheers!
