I have actually had a strawberry basil martini in Montreal and it was goooood! Amazing how those flavours work together!

Such an eye catching cocktail – no seasonal associations for me, I’m afraid. It’s just a year long broil where I am, with some rain at year’s end. Stil, I feel like diving into its pretty pink depths, for some reprieve from this heat. This is perfect; the all climes cocktail

Guess what? I have everything for this cocktail. Our basil plant is flourishing, strawberries are still in season (but almost over) and I do have some vodka. I don’t have the martini glass but that’s okay. I love spring even if we don’t have it here. Spring reminds me of living abroad and about new beginnings and new chances in life and like you’ve said the sudden motivation to do anything. I hope my inner spring comes to life soon.
