wasabi prime: That sounds a lot like the weather here in Tokyo lately! We have had rain for the past week, then the last day or so has been sunny, now we’re headed for more rain tomorrow. More chai tea in our future, I think!

I’m already in the holiday spirit. You know when it’s beginning to feel like Christmas in the Philippines when it’s really traffic. I love Chai tea. I haven’t made this at home but have tasted this at Starbucks. I had another Chai latte at Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf but it’s way too sweet. I’m going to be good to myself, I will make this Chai.

Yum, you’re right, this is a nice alternative to a chilly cocktail. We had rain, rain, rain today, a wee bit of sun, and then more rain. A creamy, spicy cup of chai would have been perfect!

Chai tea is so soothing, I love drinking it when the weather is cold. The spices really help warm the body. It is so interesting you added a kaffir lime leaf in place of the orange peel, I am intrigued!
